Andrea Ramirez-Martinez, actress, producer began her company Andre X Productions in 2019. She decided to embark into her own creation exploring theater and visual media. So far she has produced experimental pieces such as “Excerpt of Life”, “Las Torres de Hong Kong”, “Mañana Nose”. Most recently produced a Micro Theatre immersive experience at her own home called Todas Somos Luz in 2022. Most recent her play “Amour Disconnect” was selected for the Annual Brisk Festival LA 2023, and she debuted the play “Baristas Anonimas” as an original work at Frida Kahlo Theatre. Andrea was born in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico, she has been living in the US for most of her life. Her bilingual roots allows her to keep exploring her identity in this country while being true to her culture and unique voice. Her curiosity for the performing arts was innate, and so she decided to embark her life in this complicated but enticing world. She graduated from Cal State Fullerton, with a Bachelors of Arts, in Theatre Arts. In college she produced the show “La Rocka Rock en Español”.
Shortly after graduation she became fascinating with the world of producing when she joined the National TV station Estrella TV Media, here she had the opportunity to produce segments, be a reporter and voice over artist. As an actress she has joined several productions recently: “Amour (Dis)Connect”, “Jesus de Nazaret”, “Baristas Anónimas”, “Que Alegre va Celia”, “Todas Somos Luz”, “La Casa de Bernarda Alba”, “Acorazado Tijuana”, “Anna in The Tropics”, “Fue en un Cabaret”, “Fae in the Forest”, “Confessions of Women from East La”. Algunas otras participaciones en cortometrajes han sido “Interim Fashion”, “Historia Breve de una Niña”, “Conclusión de la Mort”, “Mamá y Mamá”, “Infeliz por una devoción profunda” . Recently you will be able to spot her in commercial campaigns such as “Toma Leche” and “Stand Up to Cancer”.
